I listened to Into It. Over It. a while ago and I didn’t like it, but then I enjoyed T/T/T so much, I thought I’d give the bro another chance. Some of it is really good.
A sweet jam from the upcoming Patterns EP.
A serious summer jam from Tera Melos’ upcoming album, X’ed Out.
I can’t stop singing this song. Everywhere. All of the time.
Not quite loving this album yet, but I’m definitely warming up to it.

Demon Dance, the new single from Surfer Blood.
I usually post a year-end “Best Of” thing near the end of the calendar year, but it sort of slipped my mind this time. As far as music goes, nothing really came out and socked me in the face with how good it was, so I had to ponder a bit about what my favorite album from 2011 would be. If I go by listens, according to last.fm, my most listened to album was “Angles” by The Strokes. That was followed up by the likes of Feist, Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club, and The Throne. I liked all of the albums from these bands, but I think the two that made the most impact on me were Feist’s “Metals” and Kanye and Jay’s “Watch The Throne.” I guess we’ll see if this rings true in the future. I’m working on a Spotify playlist with some of my favorite songs from 2011 and that can be found here.
I’m shutting down the Auditory Exchange Tumblr where I post my mixes. Any new mixes will be posted here. For now, you can grab the old mixes on this page. I’ll be deleting them from the server soon.
Teaser video from Feist’s upcoming album, Metals. I am super excited for this.
I’m in dire need of some new music. I haven’t discovered anything new and exciting recently. If anyone would care to recommend me a band / album, I’d be grateful. Feel free to check out my last.fm to get a taste of my… taste.
